Kaufrausch Skins…

A few of my customers have asked for me to post more skin review type dealies on my blog and I’m taking a break from homework so I put another one together  I found these skin demos while surfing ShopOnrez, they are by Mirabelle SaintLouis of Kaufrausch, Aurelia is the lighter tone pictured on the left, Samira is the Darker tone  pictured on the  right. Obviously the first thing that jumps out at you when you see these skins is the highlighting, mainly on the bum and the legs which is more pronounced on Aurelia than Samira. There are some other areas that I noticed where the tone falls flat, lack of detailing seen on the arms and starting around the mid calf to the foot. I still quite like these skins, mainly because of the detailing on the face (I’m fond of the cheeks on the Aurelia Skin), I even like the detailing on the torso/bust, It gives that athletic toned look without going overboard. Another thing I liked about these skins was the make up selection, there’s 6 makeup options and the colours aren’t too crazy, lol. Sometimes when a designer has a dark skin tone as a canvas the neon colours come out and that’s got to be one of my biggest pet peeves, dark skin does showcase bright colours yes, but not every black or dark toned woman walks around or wants to walk around looking like a bratz doll for the sake of having a high quality skin. And last but not least, the lips on these skins get two thumbs up from me with the lips on the Aurelia getting a third thumb up, lol.

Adimu Update…

This post aka ‘I’m done’ aka if ‘I move around displays anymore I will shoot someone’. It houses the the main area which is the salon and two side areas one for jewelry and another for shapes, shoes, bags etc. I have had these products on display for a while but never really formally announced their appearance in store, but I did take the opportunity to redo some of the ads.This is an african inspired bracelet & necklace set, named in the Traditional Akan form based on days of the week. Made this on a tuesday hence the name. Features sculpted beads and knotted leather, Batik/African Print/Kente Textures Click the pic to zoom. Pucci inspired timepieces. Gold& Sliver included in each set, working watchface self adjusts to PST/SL Time on rez. Random Procrastination…

The new store is almost done! lol, I’m just taking a break from building and organizing. Being the workhorse that I am, I’ve decided that i want to reshoot my ads for my shapes since I’ve redone the ads for the hair, lol, the OCD gremlin is whispering in my ear….and it  says….more cowbell, lol, no, it says that everything has to match because i’m crazies like that. Anyway, I tp’d over to check out the new Nora BodySkins Shop and scope out her new Samantha line, and while demo’ing up I found a pleasant surprise, the samantha line includes skins with hair on the scalp me likey, i thought they worked really well with some of the adimu styles, I even took some pictures…would you like to see them? here it go:    J’aime! Sezmra did great work on the new skin line, I’m wearing Toffee in these pics, but there’s three other skintones available in total.  Okay I’m going back to work now, that tentative February 1st re-open date is starting to look more like tommorow or sunday even  

Adimu Update…

So I was totally bummed because yesterday my landlord told me that she’s selling her island in three days, so much for advanced notice especially since she had the auction listed on SLX since the 14th. But today is a gewd day A friend has allowed us to set up a new location on her sim and Ciera Bergman of Vitamin Ci has offered us a space on her sim as well while we move over, this is a really busy week for me in RL so my online time is pretty much next to nothing, tentative opening for the new location is February 1st, just in time for black history month (hellz…..yes…..) but the current main location in Simbas Paradise will be no more by thursday. Hair will still be available for purchase at the First Meta, Hairspray, and now the Vitamin Ci location on Hefferoo, but they will be limited to natural and natural fatpacks only. Thanx in advance for understanding and sorry for any inconvenience. and a big thank you to Minky of First Meta and Ciera from Vitamin Ci <3 Okay I’m going to run an attempt to do some thumbnails for an assignment, lol, happy Tuesday everyone!
