Changes coming up at the end of the month…

…I’m probably OD’ing on so much Mountain Dew right now, lol, so this might be the sugar talking. At the end of the month the Zouk City Mainstore will be no longer, going to be changing/streamlining my operations and downsizing to a much smaller store, much much much smaller. Some of the new changes will include:

 

Suscribe-o-matic thingy (I’ve been waiting to do this forever)

introduction of hippovendors and a resend server

The old school group will be changed into a Frequent buyer type deal where if you make alot of purchases you can request to be added to the group then you will recieve a group discount when you purchase from the new vendors

Metacard purchases will still be accepted

Gift sending for everyone

I’m also thinking of turning one of my locations into a Gift Card/Gift Certificate location, so you can buy gift certificates and give them to people….i dunno…all the other kids are doing it

But for now…

If you would like some input into some of the new changes planned, please join the adimu specialty salon group, I’ll leave it open until say….12:00PMish PST/SLT tommorow (tuesday) I’ll send out a survey sometime this week, then when you return it to me you can specify a free hair of your choice, then if you stay in the group you get discounts when the new store opens wooo, that’s better than hammerpants coming back in style non?

On Vacation…

…kinda. lol, I don’t really take breaks or vacations, i’m more on hiatus from SL, ehn, It’s just not as fun any more.

JayJay and I purchased an OpenLife Sim and we’ve found it to be a blast It’s buggy as all hell but unlike the LL grid it’s to be expected because OL is still in development, but it has alot of potential. Sim ownership is affordable in OLG unlike LL where you have to sell your soul and give your first born’s gallbladder in exchange for JUST the first month’s tier, lol.

The snapshot above is part of the region we purchased, we’re modelling it after a resort in Zanzibar that we’d like to visit one day

Anyway, when I make some new hair or something y’all will be the first to know I’m trying to learn how to do sculpties, i’m also tinkering around with some furniture and architecture designs.

2 New Shops…

hiyas everyone,

no new hair at the moment. Was hoping to do a little something over the spring break but RL seems to have gotten more interesting than SL, lol. Going into my 3rd semester of design school on the 1st so it’’s going to be another long stretch of homework,blood,sweat, and tears and inconsistent releases, or maybe not, it’s too early to tell. Big thanx to my wicked customers especially those who messaged to see if I was okay, lol, nothing is wrong, I’m still in-world….sometimes….when I feel like…and SL is getting along nicely with my Mac, lol. Big sorry to those who’s messages were eaten :S

I did manage to open two new satellite stores, pictures and SLURL down below, both are integrated with Metacard for discounts and gifting. I’m also going to update the Locations tab of the blog Happy Sunday everyone!

Ebony Style Blog…

woot! my posts related to skins and other non-Adimu fashion stuff have been exported over to http://ebonystyle.wordpress.com. I just sent in the requests to be added to the feeds so I’m making the announcement here. Ebony Style is the brainchild of Patty Cortes and Tura Sirbu( creator of Ebony&Ivory Skins), they both seem to share the love of all things afrocentric like I do so I offered to start up a supplementary blog to accompany the future in-world publication. Patty is also in the planning stages of Miss and Mister Ebony SL 2008, you can find out more info about the pageant on the website: Miss & Mister Ebony SL 2008. I’ve got Khitten Khurka, Serina-Jane Loon, and Washu Zebrastripe on board as intermittent bloggers, so it should be an interesting mix of fashion stuff, hopefully some interviews with black content creators, cultural events and more.
